Air Press
The Siprem
International Air Press is pneumatic press where a membrane inflated by compressed
air performs the pressing of fresh or fermented grapes.
Grapes may be introduced into the machine either through an axial valve or though
a large door.
Through the same door, with the tank rotating, one can discharge the exhausted
marc at the end of the pressing cycle.
The pressing membrane is operated by a pneumatic system driven by a compressor
installed on the machine. Juice is separated by a perforated draining surface
placed inside the tank, and then gathered in a hopper located underneath.
The working cycle is controlled by a PLC system through which the operator can
modify the working parameters according to the grape variety.

Main advantages
Instant separation
of high percentages of must during the loading stage. Improved must quality thanks
to extremely low operating pressures (not above 0,7 - 0,9 atm, and never above
atmospheric pressure).
Minimisation of pressing times with clear advantages in must quality. Greater
operational simplicity and total elimination of costs for additional plant such
as compressor, air reserve lines, etc.
Significantly reduced installed power requirements compared to other pressing
systems.
Possibility of inspecting the membrane even during pressing.
Possibility to process automatically in environments saturated with inert gas.
Possibility to carry out carbonic maceration and cryomaceration.

Continuous Membrane
Press
High output capacity
guaranteed by the continuous; soft and calibrated pressing, a typical feature
of membrane operation; fractional must separation obtained through progressive
regulation of working pressures; complete juice extraction from marcs ensured
by the pressing technique. These are the strengths of presses in the revolutionary
PCM series, the new generation of machines able to both load product and unload
marcs without any interruptions.
